86' 250r footpegs on 85' 250r

ok- the bracket i believe is thicker/stronger. do they bolt right up to a 85?. doesnt the footpeg sit at a slight different height? higher or lower? do the 86' pegs withstand the sagging down any better than 85 ones or is just the bracket strength improved?- thanks in advance.

The footpeg itself is stronger, instead opf 2 small tabs to support your weight it has a solid strip. yes they bolt right up also.

hmmm maybe that explains why one of my foot pegs is bent down lower than the other on my 85
