I need to replace exhaust on my 1983 250 R what works on it and also what carburator can I buy any help is greatly Appreciated. P.S I WANNA MAKE IT FAST.:twisted::twisted::twisted:

1983 and 1984 ATC 250r is the only exhaust that is gonna work on it. As for the carb - unless you are doing other work on the motor and intake - you will want to leave your carb stock. An aftermarket pipe will wake it up big time.

You can put an 85 or 86 250R carb on it - but it takes some jetting changes to make it run right through it's entire power band. I could never get my 85 carb to work right on my 84 250R and resorted back to the stock model.

Search Ebay for an exhaust system.
