Does anyone know what max usable revs are on a stock Tri Z or 85 250R?

all of them? LOL
All you have to do is make sure jetting is correct, I don't recommend running wot 100% of the time.

Well these things don't have rev counters but someone must have fitted one? I remember the four stroke Honda single road bike that my brother had hitting 9 or 10,000 rpm but I never rode his Yamaha RD 250, which was same era as Tri Z and liquid cooled.

My sons old mini atv we used to have didn't engage the clutch until 7,000 RPM's .. It would fully rev up to 14,000 RPM's on the tach we had on it.
