250R shock question

Hey guys,

I don't know anything about shocks so I'm hoping you can help me out. I have 2 shocks that both act completely different. One is acting like it's completely shot and has no compression or rebound. It seems like the spring is the only thing doing the work. It seems that this one needs a complete rebuild. Am I right? With the other one, you can compress it, but you have to pull it back to open it back up. My thought is that the internals on this one might be fine and it might just need a charge. I need to get one of these functional. Any ideas on how I should proceed?

I honestly cant tell you i am not familiar enough with them to help you, but did you try filling them and see if that changed them at all?

Not yet. Just got both shocks in the last two days. I guess I'll take them in and try to have them charged.
