My family and I were invited up to Potter County over the weekend. Did a little local riding on the roads( some of them are open to atv's), and my buddies neighbors property. Combined they have almost 100 acres.
We took the rides to a place called Lyman Run state park. It is open to atv's as long as they are plated and insured. The outside loop is close to 45 miles long. Then there is trails that go between the outside loop. The trails are groomed and pretty smooth. No technical areas, but a great place for a family ride.
My son had to ride with me, because he is not 8yrs old and certified to ride yet. We let him fool around in a few play areas though on my wifes quad.
