I assume an aftermarket 200 frame would be similar if not the same as a 185?
Might find out more info this weekend. Front end is aftermarket obviously, I see a
10 inch front wheel? and he says the axle is extended. Cant see a rear shock.
Said it smokes on startup. gonna offer him 300 and see if he takes it. :p

Just thought I would share. Probably drag it home this weekend anyways. lol HH

Congrats. Now get that plastic off of there and let's see if it's like mine or like zeekers. We both have works shocks, but our upper shock mounts are different. Vented dipstick and a very interesting drum brake set up.
Heard from Ron? LOL

ok, i'll do that sometime tomorrow. scared to drag it out to the shop. im on thin ice out there as I type... drug a 88 250R home a couple weeks ago, and its sitting in there now (another killer deal IMO) I have a problem... (I need to post up pix of it too lol omg its fast...) My phone decided to have a meltdown over the weekend, just got a new one, as soon as I figure out how to work it, i'll give ron a ring.
can anyone ID the pipe? HH

I can't tell if it's an old hooker pipe or not. Looks a little like a DG. Someone else had pipes like that but can't remember off the top of my head. Those bolt on 185s frames are really sweet. Just don't treat them too harshly. You just have to keep up on checking all those nuts and bolts. Nylon locking nuts are highly recommended.

Exhaust pipe looks like a PK racing pipe to me . Awesome score . I would like to see what carb its got ? You dont really need the vented dipstick on these unless its got a big stroker in there !!!!!!

It would be a real shame to ruin a bolt on kit by welding the pieces on. There are weld on kits or auto x if he wants something stronger. But if he really wanted a performance trike, I'm sure he would have bought an x or an r.

Heres some pics of the bolt on subframe and shock mount for Pat, and anyone else who is interested.
Still dont know if the motor has anything done to it. Smokes really bad. lol Pulled the intake, no portwork anyways. Might have a cam or the timing has jumped. hehe runs OK I guess. Im thinking its stock. Looks like the stock carb, but I need to pull it and measure it. Might be XR200. HH

Zeeker here. I've got one of those kits in a '82 185s. Looks like you have a PK Racing pipe also. Looks like mine. Too damn loud so I took it off. (Look for it in the classifieds soon). Your shock looks a bit different than mine tho. This is what the stuff looks like with a bath. That spark arrestor was a devil to get out of that pipe.

Yes, your kits are different than mine. I still think they are super cool. And no, I don't mind checking the bolts. Mine doesn't get ridden hard anyway. Mine was the extra trike and many a wife and girlfriend rode the suspension 185s and shifted the semi auto. The bolt on kits are what they are. If you know their limits and stay within them, they will give you years and years of happy cushiony service.
