Hey guys,

I did an oil change last week on my 250sx and I forgot the run the bike first before draining the oil. I don't think this is a big deal.

anyways I filled the bike back up with oil 10W40 and she runs perfectly, I tightened up the little nut underneath but I am getting a very small oil leak.(like 2-3 drips/24 hours) The nut feels very snug. I don't want to really reef on it because I don't want a stripped nut.

any advice ? did I not tighten it enough ? do I need to do something special

Probably needs a new gasket or O-ring. I wouldn't tighten it anymore because the case is only aluminum. It is VERY easy to strip out. If you get a new one you can tip your trike on the side to change it quickly so you don't have to drain all the oil out.
