I need a carb choke plunger to replace the one that seems to be fused to my carb walls, going to have to drill it out.

16046-HA0-013 is the part number

Found this on eBay

Says it fits all years of the SX and ES, but I've heard the 85 models have a smaller diameter plunger and the 86/87 models would NOT interchange.

Which is true? Also, does the TRX300 utility quad have the same carb? Thanks

YES, I found the Keihin maybe model08 versus 03 different diameters. Those may not be the actual numbers but they are certainly different plunger diameters. Probably all Honda's attempt on the 85 250SX cold start issue...... One may be an 05 Keihin but I know that the good starting carb is the Keihin 08...............

I'm sorry I forget the actual numbers........

a 350X carbs wth SX jets, the A?B lid off and an exhaust help her giddy-up and go :D

Don't be scared to propane torch that puppy, the aluminum won't melt at that temp.......

Will try a small propane torch, no penetrating fluid and force would budge it. By the way, would you be interested in doing the welding work to extend my BR driveshaft and swingarm 3", maybe the fork extension weld and rear shock mount once I get it figured out? Figured you were in/near Massachusetts anyway and had access to machines.

Drive it over, stuff it in a wheelbarrow or ship it over, piece of cake!! (with cookie crumbles of course)
