Their fiche shows left crank seal included in assembly [2] but it wasnt in the box, and they refused to make it right. next time = buy somewhere else.
PS get them now, the price is relatively low...

I emailed them at customer service for OEM clutch plates and they responded that they were no longer available for my 350x. Went to my local Honda shop and ordered them with no problem. I figure that the person was either too lazy to look them up or had no idea what an ATC 350x was. Either way, that was my first and last dealing with them.

People just don't understand CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you receive great customer service...you're likely to tell 2 or 3 people. If you receive BAD customer service...you're likely to get on the 'net and tell MILLIONS.
Some business's just don't get it.

Dislike them all you wish but they save 40% as opposed to my local stealer....
Go ahead and find a better parts source...................

I had to explain to honda: 'there is this thing called the internet and e-bay, they WILL have the part, for a third of you're price & it will be here in 3-4 days'.......huh? Also, I explained they've been screwwin' the public with inflated prices for 30 yrs. and that's why their parts sales have dropped 40% in the last 10 yrs., cheaper elsewhere.....whaa? One honda shop in my area didn't even have gas line. I don't use em' cept' for oil or a nut or bolt. (they have nothing in MT at the dealerships)

SH has saved me 40% from my dealer, 15% cheaper than bike Bandit and in about 9 days I have my parts; I love Service Honda! Western Honda was fantastic until my guy got chitcanned, then there prices went up also......... I will not go my dealer until I MUST have the part..... I don't want them to close but if a seal is 11 from them and 7$ at SH, they are not getting my buisness....I'd love to support local buisness but they just take it too far. 10% more than SH would be AOK but another 30% on top of that!!?? Forget you................
Yeah yeah, I know they have overhead but when have the guys are laughing, having a good time instead of approaching me, I don't feel bad at all. I am very sorry Dick Bettencourt....................................... ..................
Chaplin Kawi has also been very good go me money wise but they with unitl EVERY o-ring is in until they show up which I don't care for........
I'm unaware of Zuki or Yamahaq discount dealers but if I needed a part, I'd find it online.
In about the past 10 years of ordering online, I have had excellent results and saved tons of money. Apparently the overhead from parts bins is much cheaper......
Too bad we can't order DIRECT from American Honda, but it is what it is. I like SH #1 after Jesse got chit-canned at Western Honda, he was hooking me up :beer but sadly, probably why he got fired amongst other reasons............................My local dealer is not doing so well (Bettencourts Honda), they were the ones having the big auction a couple months ago.....

Is anyone looking at the scope of what these guys are trying to do? Catering to people who want to shop in there underwear. Sure everybody wants to whine about instances here and there. I have slung parts for 10 years at a nationally ranked dealer, #1 in customer service I might add. Every weekend I work I have someone coming in telling me they are scoring huge internet deals at service honda. I can't say anything about it. They buy at such massive volume that there pricing is drastically different than ours. Sure I can bring parts in at my cost which is 10% over cost. Still amazingly good, but they sometimes come in cheaper than us. At service honda you don't get a face to face transactions. At a dealer you do. Granted some dealers are pricks and don't cater to trike guys. I know when someone comes into our dealership all the sales guys, owner, service and parts guys always refer them guys to me. I help them out always. But most dealers have younger help and are green as they come. This stuff isn't easy even for seasoned guys sometimes...
Be thankful you can still get these parts let it be a crank seal or case half. What the hell is the difference? Another $15 dollars to the scope of work that you are doing?

Is it me or has the shipping cost for service honda went up lately? I was charged $15 for shipping for fork slider bushings... I noticed that when I had one more item in my cart on accident it bumped my shipping up another $2! (it weighed less than the bushings!). My shipping used to be $7-9 at the MAX for items much larger than fork bushings.

The next time I need OEM parts I am going to shop around at bikebandit and see what their total cost + shipping would be compared to servicehonda. I wonder if their advertised 30% off OEM parts is really worth it with their outrageous shipping costs.

There outrageous shipping costs aren't outrageous. THERE NOT MAKING MONEY ON SHIPPING.
Have you been to the post office, UPS, or FEDEX lately? Have you bought any postage or packing supplies? It costs money. Not trying to attack you at all but it is not cheap for them, just as it is not for us.

If you are not happy with there costs then you should wait for a larger order or get some buddies to order at the same time to save on shipping. They charge a FLAT RATE price most of the time for shipping & handling. By the time you drove to the dealer, ordered the parts and drove back home its the same cost.

All I am saying is that the next time I need parts I will shop around instead of solely buying from servicehonda. You're right they used to charge a minimum flat rate on shipping, they did not on my last order. If my order total is going to be less expensive at bikebandit then I will shop there and the same goes for servicehonda. That's all I meant. Nothing more, nothing less.

I work for both a new car dealer and also a nation wide auto chain selling parts. Locals can only compete on service. Recently I found Service Honda and did 2 orders through them. I honestly think using their online system is better than what I use every day, and their prices can't be beat. I did notice that sometimes when you put something in your cart you somehow end up with multiples of that item, Also on the shipping, They are making money from it. Both orders had shipping almost at $20, when I got the stuff and it came in an 8" square box that weighs under a pound. I know first hand it costs less than $6.25 to ship it ups.Call it flat rate shipping, and I'm sure it is still cheaper than my local, but people notice shipping charges at 3x what it should be. The last time I was looking for prices I tried Service Honda, Bike Bandit, and another online parts store and found the Bike Bandit total cheaper even with less of a discount on the parts. I know some placed make it a pain to get the real price, taking all your info then giving you the shipping prices, but you have to do it sometimes to really know what your paying.

when i get great customer service, i try my hardest to push their name around. I like companies that give a chit, and when they do good, i try to make them more money.
as for Service Honda......i hear mixed reviews on them all the time. if you want to get taken care of, you have to call and talk to AJ. other than that, you might get taken for a ride.

Well he is the operations manager after all. Geek, did you talk to him and explain the issue?
All I can say Im thankful for all the places we can get parts for our bikes. eBay kicks azz most of the time. There are times Ive been taken by an auction or two. Ive dealt with Service Honda in the past. Their prices were decent compared to the dealers (22% markup) but the customer service isn't very good. But then again, we are talking about 25yr old bikes and some young guy typing in orders over the phone. One thing that gripes me is having to place an order before SH will tell you if a part is available or discontinued. THE GUY IS ON THE PHONE AND HE CAN'T LOOK THAT UP ON THE PC!? Crazy.
I like BikeBandit because they keep their list updated. The greyed out items are no longer available. And their shopping cart is easy to use.
As for my local Honda Shop. I can say nothing but good things about them. Ive been dealing with them for over 15yrs. These guys helped me out of jams without charging me a dime. They also did some work on one of my ATVs and they did a top knotch job. I was even allowed to bring my own parts in and they charged me labor! They discount my parts on a regular basis. There is definitely something to be said about friendly customer service! R&D Honda Palmerton, PA.
I use all methods possible to get parts for my bikes. Again, Im grateful for all of them. They keep me trike'n!!
