Just picked up an 86 ATC250R that has all the original parts on it and it is in pretty good shape. My dilemna is that since I can't get OEM fenders anymore and the Maier stuff is NOT the same red as factory, what scheme should I do? I was thinking of following the 86 350X and 200X scheme. All white with red shrouds and headlight. Then having some factory stickers put back on it. What do you guys think? Am I nuts? I would obviously keep all the stock parts. I can get a white tank from Clarke and the fenders from Maier. Thoughts? Anyone done this before?
