I have a kehine PJ carb on it already. But I like the setup on the TMX better. I have no idea how many mm's big this carb is so can someone help?

If you have a 38 mm PJ or 39 mm PJ your good. Now if you have the Money to Spend and want newer technology than yes up-grade to a TMX or PWK air Striker 38mm for better low end & 39mm for Better top end !

If its off of a 250 dirtbike its probably a 39mm, which is fine. If you've got a 310cc 250R motor, youd probably be good up to even like a 44mm.
The Keihin PJs are one of my least favorite carbs. The Mikuni's aren't as bad but I don't like them as much either. The PWK is really the best to dial in and tune in my opinion. I think there are a lot more members on the forum familiar with tuning the Keihin PWK's as well.

wow I could go up to 44mm? I wonder if I could bore a tmx to 40mm? And if I had the money I would already have a PWK carb lol.

I have a 38mm Mikuni TM flat slide that was bored to 41mm by Klemm Research. It works great on my KX cylinder ported by Klemm also.

you cannot bore a tmx to a 44, a 44 electron on alky would work but you will have NO LOW END.
I love PWK's very nice carb but Pj's arent that bad, its just the way you set the idle thats a PITA

I like the Pj's better than a PWK in my oppinion. There is a reason Keihin went back to there adjustment style on the NEWEST carb, The PWM.

I run a 39 PWM and love it. I have also ran a 39 PWK and havent noticed a really huge change to be honest. Im thinking of knockin to a 38 for a little more low end though.
