compatible parts

Could anyone tell me what other trike's and parts are compatible with a 1985 honda atc 250sx. thanks

The 250sx was built for three years, 85, 86, and 87. There were some improvements made in the 86 and 87 model years, but almost all the parts are interchangeable. The 85 throught 87 250es big red uses the same motor as the 250sx, and a similar rear end. the gearing in the rear end is lower because of th 25" tires used on the big red vs the 22" tires on the sx.

One of the most common upgrades done to the sx is to put a skinny tire disk brake front end on a 250sx. The front end from a 200x, 250R, or 350X can be used. Usually a 200x front end is used. the only difficult part is new stops have to be fabricated to keep the shocks from hitting the tank.

Lucky you!! what did you pay for that?? I cant touch a complete 350X front for less than 200$ plus!! Enjoy it!

ha ha, I got it for free. It's just the frame and forks tire and wheel. A guy at work said he had some junk 3 wheeler behind his house he would give me. So I went down there and we rode a little, then i go to get this "junk",and the frame has been painted purple? But the forks and tire and wheel are shining bright right in my face. lol, free upgrade. Need more like that.
