Pile O tri-z's

I'm going to pick up 4 tri-z's tonight. (2) 85's (1) 85 1/2 and (1) 86 + a powder coated frame and 6 totes worth of other parts, some containing complete engines....I don't know if the engines are 85's or 86's. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow if I get time. I'm sure I'll keep at least one Z and some parts for my Z project, but I will be selling a ton of stuff...maybe even a complete machine. Man, I love trike parts in bulk!!

I talked to the guy last night....he said he bought them all between 1987 and 1990 when you could get trikes fairly cheap. The last time one of them was ran was 1995.(one of them, he couldn't remember which...has a blown engine) He said he did not prep them for storage....he just washed them and put them under a tarp in his garage. He left the gas in the tanks and the carburetors and did not fog the engines. He said he has not moved or even sat on one of them since he put them there. He said they where in "decent condition"...but that can mean a lot of things to different people hence the misuse of words such as "mint". Well....he only wants $500 for the whole lot plus the parts that comes with, so really, no matter what the condition I am going to buy them unless there just destroyed.

dang that sounds like a good deal. you should be able to make 1 fairly decent complete trike with all those parts and be able to sell the rest to pay for everything.

Ok, I got the tri-z's home....as usual,,,the trikes are not nearly as nice as they where described to me but I totally expected that. I have a TON of parts. PM me if you want anything. I will be putting an add in the classifieds since this is not a forum for selling. I do have some 86 stuff. I try to get some pics up tomorrow if I get time.

Polaris Predator 500 first gen, grab bars bolt on at the gas tank bracket..Gives you more options too.
Desert, Six pack rack or standard.
You will have to fab a silencer bracket though..No biggie.

Or he makes them for the Z.
