So, she has been running like a scalded dog and then started to backire and then would die. Crank back up and ran fine for a while and then die again. Anyway, decided to check the air filter and found oil in the bottom of the airbox. Not much but enough to cover the bottom of the airbox. Checked all the inlets to the air box and nothing obstructing the flow of air. Found a slight bit of oil in the air chamber which means it was coming from the crank case. Checked oil level and it was right on track. Anyone care to take a stab at what is causing this issue. Do I have engine troubles? I'm learning so I appreciate the advice.

Man, I just need to sell this thing and be done with it...But it sure is fun!

What kind of riding have you been doing? Wheelies and such?

No wheelies, just riding my 3 yr old around the subdivision...So, you see how babied my 225 is at my house. LOL

I really need some input here as I am about to take an 8 day riding trip to TN this coming week. I do appreciate the info.

There seems to be positive crankcase pressure.

If you take out the dipstick does it have pressure there??

Is the head vented and is that line clean? Is there ring blowby? (pressure in the crankcase).............

Have a good trip, just bring extra oil :D
