hello. well my 84 110 gave up and i decided it was time for a rebuild to replace the rings. well i started to tear it down last night and ran into a problem. i cant get the timing chain off of the cam sprocket. any tips or suggestions?

The head has to be removed to be able to get the top timing chain sprocket off . Unbolt the cam making sure its at top dead center and pull the cam out . Pull the head off and your good to go .

ok i can only get 1 bolt out of the cam sprocket. any tips to get the other one out?

Put the motor in gear and that will hold the cam from spinning so you can get the bolt out . Hope your using a 10mm socket and not a wrench LOL .

Hit the socket handle with a hammer so its like a jarring action whilst in gear. (if previous does not work)
