I dont get it He is saying get in good with your local junkyard and or recycler as trikes slip into these places and are crushed. They may save them for you and let you pick thru at cost of scrap as purchase price.

I also make sure a couple dead/injured ones are in plain sight.
They seem to attract others.
The concept started when I had a couple dead lawn mowers.
Pretty soon I had 12 more.
People seem to think I needed or collected them.

My recycling guy saw me messing with my trikes and told me about a guy on the other side of town with trikes for sale... now I have a new parts contact... keep 'em visible, people!

My best trikes look like garbage.
I call them theft proof ugly but they all have motion sensors on them.
BIG ugly chain on my 87 br and I saw the local hw store has all their lawnmowers laced together with a long cable on their front sidewalk.
wanted to make one of those and then found a 20 foot dog leash cable thing for 9 bucks.
easy to lace them together and a real pain i t a to cut with bolt cutters.
I wouldn't mind of someone stole a new bike 'cause you could go out any day of the week and but 10 more but we've got years
of sweat and lost sleep into these things and most really are irreplacable.
My insurance co covers all mine for fire and theft for under 100 bucks a year.since I use them on the farm as essential and simply cannot live without a few.

There is a KLT200 At my local pick and pull, they wanted $150 just for the frame and rear fenders.
