After I finish my 200x I've been thinking about finding a 200x roller and try to do a Steve Wright factory racer replica. From what i can tell in the picture the frame has been redone to fit the 2 stroke engine and the tank had been cut back to fit the radiator and was fitted with 85 R shrouds. I figure I can get a set of repro low profile fenders from SKYKO and as for the engine does anyone know what type of engine was used. I imagine it would take lots of time to do but I think it would be really cool. What do you guys think

Do you have a scan of the picture you can post up? I have some old 3wheeling magazines I can go through to look for more pics.

A Suzuki PE 175 dirtbike motor will fit, and i've heard the motor nearly bolts right in! It is an air cooled motor though, but way more HP and snap than a stocker 200x. I dont know what all has to be done in order to make it work, but I remember years ago on here a guy did it, and it ripped! There should be a vid on youtube, I'll have to see if I can find it. ROOTS!!

I was going to do this last year so i bouth a cheap set of oem R shrouds since that what i figured out they used but cut up some. it will take major mod work to the tank, the botteom of the frame is nothing the same as 200x, if you noticed the use all 250r geometry it looks.
i had been talking with syko and he said he could do this, i just choose not to because after a test mock up the R shrouds looked HUGE!!!!!!

yeah i noticed the bottom of frame is completely reworked and so is the tank but i think it would be pretty cool to give it a shot
