I see many pictures of trikes with bare aluminum fork sliders. Did it come that way from the factory, or did you have it done? If so, how did you do it? Blasting media and polish?

The 250R and 350X forks are a rough aluminum from the factory. I'm not sure aobut the first gen 200X. They do have a clear coat type film on them. I polished mine using a "very" fine or "super" fine Roloc disc from 3M. They will take the film off and put a very smooth finich on the fork tube. Then I go over them with Blue Away (you cna probably use Wenol, Mothers or any other aluminum polish) using a Roloc polishing disc also by 3M. I start slow and them speed up as the plish dries. They usually come out pretty nice after that. Then I clena them off with a very soft towell till all the polish is gone and that is pretty much it. I also do my tripples too. I may have a pic here somewhere of how they turn out.

Nice work. And thanks for the information. I believe the 1st Gen 200x's came with black painted sliders. Mine looks like old factory finish, which I painted over. Was curious about the others though. Those clamps look like Show quality material now.

I had them polished on my BR... (didnt wanna mess with paint!) Look absolutely sweet now... gkingpolishing here on the boards did them for me, and I would recommend him to anyone... Great job, good, price, super fast turn around time...
