wish I knew exactly.

I have some of every kind right here on the farm and what works for me is to actually walk up to whatever machine with whatever i think will fit and then, and only then, can I be sure it's the right one.

Surely someone has a more evolved technique but since no one has responded, I figured I'd at least give you some hope.

all the 85 models we have are kick start and 250cc so all I know is the 84 200 had pulls and they are prob different betw the big reds with the hi lo range extra side gearbox..I jsut can't even guess for you and I have at least 2 of each model here.....sorry.

As I recall, its usually the depth of the pullrope casing thats different but mounting bolt spacing is the same.

If I was gonna bet $$ I could afford to lose? i'd say the 185/200 are the same without the hi lo gearbox but I've never seen a 200 cc 1985. I thought the were all 250 cc. and a comPLETELY different animal

I think it is the same as:

200s
200
185
185s

^^ I don't know that that info is correct. Part number matches up to TRX200 and Big Red 200ES, both of which have electric start like the 200M
