Can I repair the Anti fade nut threads on my 86 200x? the first 2-3 lines have some dents on the collar part. I can't get the collar off either, so I'm stuck.

Anti fades dont use a collar. You must have a stock axle nut. If it is a stock unit a thread file will work fine.

It will be a metric thread file at that.

I'm assuming this is it??? (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230468469946&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT)

I guess while I wait, back to paint and the bolt kit

As in it is rusted fast to the axle?

soak and heat.........soak and heat.........soak and......you get the picture.

Still nothing, I got a benzo torch and my pb blaster. What's the best way to try and get it off after the heat and soak? I'm going to take some pics.

I took a 5" grinder to mine. But of course I had to buy a new one off of ebay which cost me $30 for the whole assembly
