These are some pix of a PK Racing front suspension kit I bought for my '82 Honda 185S back in 1983. After twenty years I drug it out of the barn to give it a bath and maybe some TLC. I want to change the oil in the forks but have NO idea what they fit originally. I've never changed oil in a tube in my life and have no idea how much to put in. Also, if they would need seals, I have no clue as to what to buy. They measure 29 inches long end to end, 44 mm fat on the aluminum end and 33 mm thick in the top end. There you have it. Can anybody give me a clue?

The forks came in a few different sizes/lengths and most were from the honda sl350 early 70's model . You can use a 200x seal kit and it works perfect for the rebuild and I usually start with 6 oz of fork oil and see how it feels .

Hope this helps .

Guys, THANK YOU! You know shortline, the whole front-end looks just like the one you used on your Dickson build. By the way, you build NICE poop.

AND, What do you mean "see how it feels"? Hell, I haven't rode it for twenty years. As old as I am just putt'n down the trail will feel good. Six ounces will be just right.

Prob a Big Al's kit , I think most of the PK ones used alum tripple clamps but I do prefer the steel ones , they dont look as bulkey.
