View Full Version : 350x Rear Suspension Upgrade

I've been reading and trying to find old posts about this topic.

I see 450 shocks can be used but tabs need to be welded on the swingarm, if anyone could take pics and show me that would be awesome. Does that also mean that i run 450 suspension or 350x? Also I'm a LOT heavier than most rider so i think the more rigid shock will go a long way with me.

What's the advantage to going to a 450r swingarm setup? and i know it needs to be trimmed but what faces need to be trimmed, I also know it needs a bushing to fit the swingarm bolt through without slop.

No bites overnight? I figured that Dirtcrasher would have some input, or maybe JohnR.

Help me make the suspension work better for my weight.

You could have it rebuilt and maybe try and find a heavier spring?

I agree, rebuild and heavier spring will be so much more easy and practical.

try www.factoryconnection.com for a full rebuild and revalve and respring with heavy duty bumpstop .
should be awesome if they still have parts for it
