I got a cheap Harbor Freight welder (I know, I know) and decided to weld something. I have never welded before, but I just gave it a shot. I think it turned out pretty nice. CT70 headlight brackets worked great!

Looks good, is it a 79/80 110 headlight? Was thinking of putting one on my 70 if I can find a good one.

Looks great, is that the one that had the square headlight on it up at Snakes? Great job!

Matt - that looks fantastic! You even used filler to make it look all smooth and nice! Cheers - and nice work!

Thanks buddy... hey, any idea where I can get some cool decals/stickers to put on this little beast before I clear coat it?

I was going to put a 90 motor in it, but I didn't want to modify it beyond putting it back to stock, so until I get a pit bike motor, it will stay a 70. I need to find some good plastics.

Looks good. There isn't anything wrong with the Harbor Freight welders. For home use and little projects they work just fine.Only thing one that uses gas welds alot better than the gasless models.Granted it may not last for ever but you will get alot of service out of it.Plus you will now be able to do alot more projects that you put off.
