If I have a 185 motor, with an xr200 piston, xr200 cam, minor port and polish, aftermarket exhaust, stock airbox with a unifilter( might drill a few holes in the top with removable pllug) Can I jet the stock carb to run properly? Small carb equals more on tht low end right?

the 200x is a bolt on carb that is a little bigger but the 185 carb can be jetted for your application. My motor is similar and i am running a 110 main

Are you running a 200x carb or 185? also do you know where your clip is on the needle?

Do you know what size it is? I ordered parts from honda today.. 90cad for piston and rings and the cam was 120cad..whoaaa.. But I'm glad to use stock honda parts.... I guess.....lol A friend gave me a loan of his spare 200x carb, manifold, and twist throttle so I can try it out on the bike. Can't wait to get some parts. I also have a new set of steel MSR bars coming, a new front cable, uni filter and barnett clutch springs. the bike has already had all the bearings replaced, new plastic gas tank, seat covered, new tires and brakes... should be a nice ride. I want to hook up the decompression to the pull start, make life easier... I like my shoulder in its socket....ahha

24mm is the carb size. You could have gotten a xr cam for a bit more pep and a wiseco piston but stock isn't a bad thing

oops.... I should have mentioned I ordered the XR piston and the XR cam.... be interesting to see what kind of improvements it makes. The little bike with the jardine exhaust and ebay carb pulls pretty good... I can't wait until thursday when the parts arrive..
