Recoil starter is missing off this trike, the pos cable from the battery to the starter was cut and the kid was hooking a battery charger to the pos cable about 8" above the starter to get it running when I bought it.
I finally got the top end back from the shop, and installed it today- started it and it ran fine....fixed the positive cable and installed a battery-cranked but wouldn't start-checked and it has no spark.
If I short it by laying a screwdriver across the pos terminal and the starter relay it has spark....WTF?
Checked the wiring and connecters, didn't find any problems, so what should I be looking for?
Any help is appreciated cause I'm flat out confused!
