Can someone help me I.D. what year this 90 is?

This little guy is listed locally for cheap as a "1990", so I'm guessing the guy has no idea what year it is either (I haven't received a return email yet). My best guess is it's a 1976-77, but I really am not farmiliar with the 90cc's. Does anyone here know for sure?

Here's the add guys. I thought I'd have the extra cash tomorrow to buy it, but things aren't going to work in my favor (too many bills). The owner says he'd take $230-$240 for it. It's located in Manteno, Il; about 10 minutes north of Kankakee if anyone here wants it. I figured it was too good of a deal not to share.

I think it has a first model US90 seat and it looks in good condition. It is worth the money for the seat alone if its not torn up.
