My "new" trike ...85 250SX pics

first one I have ever had ! love it so far. nice electric start, auto clutch..dam i am getting old. and yes, that rear tire on the front is already on it's way out. Other than that, it seems pretty solid. I have alot of work planned for that thing..well, work meaning moving firewood. then maybe a restore and some mods. whatever you guys end up talking me into. Love the 200X front end look with the 350X headlight and fender! post some pics of your modded 250sx's

i absolutly love my 85 sx it is the best trail/woods trike i have , not to many mods on mine but it is all powder coated with new maier plastics, new seat, a nos honda sx250 engine. oh and mine is a driver mud,water,snow, you name it has been threw it!!!!

Here's mine, I ride it a lot, it's not as nice looking as it used to be, but it's always been my favorite trike for the kind of riding I do.....

so cool guys. I think the 250SX is a pretty under the radar or underrated trike. At least in my book it has been..lol..
The front tire that is on there is actually a rear " duro" chevron type. it pushes so bad in the turns. I already ordered a stock knobby and should be here soon.
So far today , complete oil change including filter. Brand new UNI air filter ( i had a new one from my 200X that fits perfect), gear oil change, adjust all brakes, remove rear luggage rack, wax gas tank, new spark plug, adjust pilot screw and idle..oh, and hauled about a 1/2 cord of wood across my property. ( so I could justify the new purchase) and took all my girls for a ride
I love getting new toys :)
Tomorrow, remove sand and repaint stock exhaust. I am thinking i may leave the exhaust stock as it is soooo quiet. My stock 200X sounds like a frieght train next to this thing. And pull some brush and move more firewood, unless it's raining ( can you tell work is slow for me ..lol)
Definitly a cool bike with a unique sporty look. Not as fast as i thought but I would say it is a perfect balance of speed and suspension. You really don't want to be going any faster with this suspension

Mine has that same tire on the front... hate it! Are you gonna get rid of that rear rack?:naughty:
