Well i could not wait till saturday to pick up the big red, went and got it today, it is a working progress, it will start going under major changes starting tomarrow, will post pic,s as i progress with it, i do have a question it will crank but will not run unless you keep choke on, i think maybe the carburator needs work, what do you guys think ever run into this problem.:d

Yeah, it's starving for fuel. Probably clogged jets. A good carb cleaning / rebuilt should take care of that.

BR carbs are common for needing a rebuild... Be very careful with the choke plunger, they are expensive little buggers!

Wow, and I thought mine was a basket case when I got it. I know I am enjoying my current '85 rebuild:)

Yea she is in need of plastic surgery, she will look better in a couple month,s.. It will be fun breathing new life into this machine
