The low pro rears in yellow are extinct pretty well. Maier will cut you out any fenders any colour for a minimum of 10 sets I beleive $$$$$$$

I only know of 1 other yellow 250r on the whole boards. Its a shame I beat the crap outa mine!

Nope, It's had it's debut here about a month ago. It was in the build process at when I was at Raffa's. That plated stuff Ed brought to me was for this one as well as my other R. I'm working on the other Tecate as well.

He definitely doesn't hide it! What I love is that Ross has "shelf queen" quality trikes, but he rides them hard and isn't afraid to get them dirty!!!

I have to admit, I really get off on the scenery of all these guys from states like Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and about 40 other states. I can't believe how wide open everything is and I especially do a "ooh and aaaw" when I see snow on the ground. It seems like I live in a small country called San Diego and everyone else lives in another country. Keep the pics of 250R's and Big Red's riding thru farm fields and snow covered front yards that are 50 acres in size. It amazes me :-)

these are my best as of now , the sx is fully powder coated with maier plastic, it was fully rebuilt but is a driver and has its scrapes and scratches,
The 250r in nice but the frame and swingarm could use repainting but gets compliments everywhere i ride.
i allso have two tecates that will be rebuilt the same way, built to ride and look good,

Thanx guys. I think those blue plastics were in that run of 10 that you did Seadoo. That was you that organised that wasnt it? I saw them on ebay and there was no interest. Then they were relisted and so i thought they dont come along every day and blue is my favourite colour so i thought i'd get them for when i got a 3rd gen R because i absolutely love your blue R so i contacted the guy and said i was kinda interested and so he looked into shipping and it was only US$75 so i bought them for US$375 (i think) plus US$75 shipping. BARGAIN!!! The seller was RiD3R on here. I couldnt help it... i decided to do another build and use the blue plastics... and guess what... i couldnt get my tank in the same Reflex blue either. LOL.

heres my one and only i have replaced the carb (ebay) new uni filter new tank shrouds , seat , hand grips , coil , rejetted the carb ,and new front fender , you cant tell cuz these were traken before, but 32 zip tie stitches and 2 cans of krylon white plastic spray paint and new red fork boots and a cobra pipe. lots more to come
future parts to add include 20x11x9 rears , wheel spacers , new rear fender. and a new pipe either bassani , dg or super trapp ?

I disagree for metal tanks FULL of gas. It is the best barrier. Switch vent to closed if there is one. Not in sunlight or temp changes tho. When removing from storage then dump gas into something else like older car. Put in fresh gas flush out petcock and run. Stabil is good too. Problem is there is always a spot where some air is inside like very highest inside point of tank or bottom of metal gas caps. Coat them with some type of oil or fogging spray that goes into 2 stroke engines for storage. Plastic tanks prob empty to stop staining or swelling.

not corect dude,dont want to argue but all gas contains ethanal now except av gas.the ethanol attracts water like a sponge,it will pull it right out the air and put it in the bottom of your tank

Here are some pics of mine of what I've done in the last couple weeks pretty much wvery thing besides all the original plast is new, billet,rebuilt or chromed. Motor is getting a new crank and a ESR 310pv paid $1500 for machine about a year ago and have around $5500 in receipts sofar and need to pay for the OEM crank and clutch upgrade along with checking over the tranny yet.

Well my 185s is the only ATC I got so I guess its my best. Put alot of work into it and I still don't have it the way I want it yet(prolly never will). I need to tear it all down again so I can clean up the frame and paint it up nice(hopefully have it powder coated if money allows). I have replaced alot of parts on this ole thang. I think I have had it close to 3 years now and I never knew till today when I was looking around up close it has a jug from a 200 on it.

My son and I actually witnessed your Hurricane and and another friend of yours on a Kawasaki With a big paddle tire on the back shooting up 9mile hill about 10 years ago. My son had an old beater 84 250r out there then. He still has it but it's no longer a beater. The sound of that Hurricane blasting up the hill was mind boggling! :crazy:
Here is a pic of my sons 250R now. It was totally rebuilt and now has a drag ported 300R kit with lots of other go fast goodies on it. :naughty:

You're welcome! You're right about that. It is a very small world. I put my son on a powerwheels 3 wheeler when he was 2 years old. Next came a 70 and the rest is history.
His 300R won the modified class at trikefest 09. It also won the best modified trike award that year. We couldn't make it last year do to lack of money. We're going back this year though. I'm building an oldschool Bandito 90 and with a little luck it will be there with me.

Yep! We lived in Rio Rancho for 17 years. Moved here, my home town, for family reasons. My son, Hartley, is 25 now. He's planning on moving back out there this summer. I'm sticking around here with my dad. He just turned 78. We lived in unit 7 toward the west end of Northern out by the Rio Puerco.
