Will a 9.50" wide tire fit on a 6" wide wheel

I have a set of 4 - 18 x 9.50 x 8 tires sitting in my shed brand new and my son needs tires on his little atv.
Will the 9.5" wide fit on the stock 6" wide wheel. The stock tire size 18 x 7 x 8 on I think a 6" wheel.

I already have wide back wheels for it . So these need to go on the front. This bike is just for him to learn on. He only weighs 40lbs with full gear .

it will work, the tires will just have more of a round ballon shape to them.
if these were the flat race type tires it will make them a little more ballonish and defeat their purpose but would still work.

Thanks for the reply. The speed he is going to riding at are so low balloon tires will not effect much for him.
