So friday im browsing craigslist like always looking for 3wheelers, when i see an add that says "1987 Honda SX 250". I call 3 times and nobody answers, impatient as hell i justr wait until saturday morning.
I call saturday morning and everything goes as planned, I make a 160 mile round trip and im a proud new owner of a 1987 250SX!!! The bike looked worse in the pics than it did in person so i was really happy about that. Runs great, shifts through all gears perfectly, 3 brand new tires with the hairs still on them. The tank and seat are in good shape, Electric start doesnt work since it needs a new battery but it starts 1st or 2nd kick everytime. It has an aftermarket exhaust on it with an awful looking spark arrestor, it sounds pretty good but im going to look for a full stock exhaust. Im also gonna get new front and rear Maiers for it.
Oh yea and the best part........ I paid $450 for it.
