Is this exhaust much louder than stock? decent performance gains? worth the $$
I have had the cobra and took it off after 10 mins. waay too loud for me . nice throttle response , but just too loud. Am I going to have the same results with the supertrapp?

I'm pretty a supertrapp is gonna be just as loud if not louder.

The supertrapp exhaust is a bit louder than stock but no way near as load as the Cobra exhaust. Alot of the sound (tuning) is effected by how many discs you have attatched. I have one on the RacerX and I think it has a nice smooth low rumble.

Cobra is about the loudest junk out there.... The supertrapp would sound good!

Loud is good , but I live in an area were it doesn't effect anyone LOL . The supertrapp is tunable and can be made quieter than a cobra , use about 6 disks and you should be good .

Supertrapp is not as loud as Cobra, even with 12 discs. I had both and stayed with the trapp.

yeah i have the aluminum cobra on my 85 200x and it is really loud but i like it. i dont know what the steel ones are like though i have a brand new one still in the box that i never tried. i bought that steel one after about two weeks, they told me it was on back order. they tolde me it would be a while for it to come in, so i order a aluminum one because this other place had one in stock. i was like i need an exhaust, and go figure they both showed up at the same time so i just through the aluminum one on.
