It can be done to probably ANY quad, similar but different.

TPC trikes makes them - not cheap though.....They make cheaper ones and to the upwards of 20,000$ depending on the mods and add ons.

ATCTIM has been chopping up TRX250X's into trikes and using 200X front ends (not sure on that, could be 350X front ends)

But, most of us who want one just build our own. There is too much labor involved to pay someone else to do it. If ATCTIM has them down, he may be willing to chop one up and make you one for a cost with whatever front end you want on there............. Shoot him a PM!

dude, trikes won't always be there for you to go and buy. If you are truly a trike fan and want to build a 3 wheeler from a quad go for it.

i have thought about geeting a 250r but where we ride at is nothing but swamp land i mean water bog holes you name it. there is some sand hills but not many so i didn,t think a 250r would be that good of a choice under those condition,s..i could be wrong?

Muddy and swampy? You're probably on one of the best 3-wheelers(250SX and YTM225 are best in my opinion)) for that type of terrain now.

i would get a 350x for swampy terrain.

The 250 sx or 225 yamaha is the best for bogs because they are automatic . you can hopp them up and put on larger mudder tires that will gripp digg and push. Wooly Boogers are the bomb in mudd!!!
A 350 will have so much power you will not be able to hang on, it will stall and you will get exhausted starting it over an over.
Just my thoughts.

when you say hop it up are you talking about bigger tires, it is hard to find a tire in 25x11-8 that will work most tires are 25x12-9 i am looking for 25x11-8 if possible i may have to go to a 9-inch rim
