I have a Honda ATC 200 and the rear fender is impossible to find. I am sure they have been discontinued. Is there another model that would fit my bike?? Or am I just out of luck. I would like to buy new rather then restore.
If anyone could help, that would be great. Either if you or someone you knows has the fender in great shape or how I can locate it.
Someone has to make them or be able to!!!

If your not wanting a picture perfect bike, the Maier aftermarket fenders aren't bad (Especially since they went to a glossy finish) http://www.maier-mfg.com

Thanks for the link..However when I did a search for my bike it gave 0 results. So I guess they don't have them either :(

Thanks again!

They should have them, even if its not listed ontheir site. I'd give them a call and talk to a human and see if you get the same answer. If you do, then your gonna have a real fun time hunting up some OEM fenders.

Hmmmm.... I checked Dennis Kirk.... Maier lists ATC200S 84-86. Not sure what the difference was between 83 and 84. lists an 185s rear fender for 81-83. Would that one work for him???

Just trying to help, but have no clue about 200s's. I had Big Red's (200E) in those days! I know for a fact those wont work as they were a split fender with a tool box in the middle.

I know there's a guy on ebay that sells 200s fenders. 149.00 I'd try JL lucky, should be cheaper.

My Bike is a 200 not a 200s and from what everyone telles me, they are not the same. Mine is a 2 piece, and I have even called honda, and they are discontinued. All the people here say they dont even make an after market fender. THIS SUCKS!

Sounds like you have a Honda 200 Plain. This is a very rare trike if that is the case. That was the first trike I owned when I was younger and remember parts being a bare to find and that was when they where still making trikes. Your best bet is to post a wanted add on this forum, keep an eye on ebay also try contacting jackscyclesalvage (http://www.jackscyclesalvage.com/). I have been pertty impressed with the inventory of jackls salvage but some stuff are a bit expensive.
Good Luck!

Does it look anything like this? This a '85 200 with 2pc. fenders and a large tool box/trunk.

That looks more like a '84 200S I just sold but it was a one pc. fender. The '85m is 2pc. ,shaped alittle diff. but I have know idea if they would fit without trying. The 2pc fenders on my '85M are pretty rough not really worth shipping. Might be worth tryin if you could find some near you.

The 200M had fenders like a 200E Big Red w/o all the racks. I'd care to say if you didn't care about the tool box, that the frames are probably similar and go for the 84 200s Plastic. The 200 didn't have nearly the size of tool box as a 200E Big Red or a 200M had. Best would be to call Maier or talk to someone that knows.

Hello,
Looks like that is a 200M! Does it have electric start? I am just guessing here I would suggest you take the Vin numbers and as your local dealer to be sure wht you have before you start spending money.

It says 1983 ATC 200 right on the serial plate.
It is pull start and the guy I bought it off of use to be a honda dealer and this bike was bought off his lot brand new.
So I would assume he would know that it is a plain 200.

Hello,
Just a few more questions to help identify. Are you sure it does not have an electric start along with the pull start? Cause by your picture it looks like it has an starter in the front where the 200M starter was located. Also can you tell which direction do you have to shift the transmission (Down or Up) to go through the gears from 1st-5th? If you have to push down on the gear shifter to shift through 1st-5th and pull up to down shift it probabaly is a 200 plain. Again to be sure what are the vin numbers (serial #'s) and somebody here could probably find out exactly what trike you have.

I am with you there. Honda did make a ATC200 There is no e, es, m, s, x letter.
Here is a 1983 brochure picture: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/Sads/sHonda1983atc200atc185sA.jpg

Notice there is no letters after atc200. ;) ;)

Mint Fenders are harder to come by. Maier doesn't make any and Honda discontinued them. Check you PM.

Thanks

Ok just talked to Honda to verify and yes it is a plain old 200 no letters to follow.
Positive there is no electric start, the fenders are 2 piece and I have to shift down.
So am I safe to assume no one makes aftermarket fenders for this bike??
Will any other model fit this 200 plain....

Thanks for the help so far!

Congrats on the mystery! Now to find fenders I am not sure what will swap but I am pertty sure the 200M has split rear fenders also so you might give that a try. I also would recommend contacting Jacks Cycle Salvage (http://www.jackscyclesalvage.com/) as I mentioned previously. As I said in previous post they seem to have a lot of ATC stuff but can get a little expensive. Ebay is another good source for this type of stuff but you need a little patience sometimes.
Good Luck!
