Head pipe removal

whats is the best way to remove the nuts and possibly the studs. Should I just go with the PB Blaster and heat or are there any better ideas? I dont have an acetaline torch but I have propane and mapp torches. is the Mapp gas hot enough?

Lots of penetrating fluid and some heat if needed . Use a good pair of vice grips to get the studs out , just be very patient .

You can also back two nuts up to each other tight on one stud to remove the stud. If the stud will move, they tend to rust themselves into the head.

I soaked mine with PB for a couple days first. Then A little propane torch heat and they came right out.
