got an opportunity to snag one for 500 bucks seller says it has a cracked clutch cover and runs great but needs to b push started due to the clutch cover i guess i dont know what the clutch cover has to do with starting but i am new to wrench spinning i just love to go fast worth it ?

if its in good condtion other wise get it for cheaper that cover is an easy fix costly.since He cant start it i would be guessing the kicker is messed up too

how costly , i am currently finishing up my 86 200x and ready for more speed , also the description says tri z 250r i wasnt aware of the r on the end i thought that was a honda thing? typo?

You should be able to score a clutch cover for under 100 dollars on ebay easily, if you keep an eye out. It could have low compression also, if the kicker works fine, which is why he would have to pull start it. Yes, the R on the end is a typo, but the tri z is yamahas fastest and only race trike.

got a little more info sorry no pics though DG pipe ported head and cylinder by paul turner ? uni filter and jetted who or what is paul turner ?
