I forgot I had this clip. I don't have any still pictures of this thing from back then but this works. You don't see vids of these things from when they were only a few years very often so I threw it on youtube.

This is the same R that I have now.

Also found a clip of my first car. 1973 AMX Javelin. I LOVED that car! I got it 1989 right around the same time I got the 250R.

The Javelin. That's funny. I'm 40 and got my 1st car around then a 1973 oldsmobile 442. A kid in highschool built a Javelin. It was hotrods, american cars in the 80's. Thanks Dammit, it's good to remember.

You almost never see a Javelin around here. They were fairly common where I grew up (toledo) because the plant was there. I want to find another of the exact same year and model someday.

Another Javelin fan? I never would have thought. :pics: :w00t:

Mine had a 360 in it. Pretty much bone stock except for a Mallory coil and distributer. Obviously it had the Pierre Cardin interior which would make it even more rare today.

There's a guy at the dealership I used to work for that has a MINT 1970 AMX 2 seater. I was floored when I saw it.

My stepfather had a Javelin w/360 in it back in about '86. Borderline cherry condition, too.

Ran strong for a big car.
