85 250R sproket hub/carrier interchange?

Ok, so you all should know what will work and what wont. I want to switch out my 85 sproket hub to the 86 style hub. Can I just pull the axle and press the 85 one off and press the 86 one on and be done? Or would I have to swap the whole swing arm out to the 86 and change the whole carrier and brake braket to make this work?

i highly doubt you will get the hub off the axle they were not meant to be changed...

what are you gonna gain running 86 style on an 85? i dont see the point in this.

Oh I got it off.... it wasnt easy I had to use my friends shop and his 60,000lbs press but its all apart.... friggin dirty lil B*#$%!!! it was... The reason I wanted to use the 86 set up is the carrier is bigger and the sproket hub is a better design which runs the sproket inboard using normal counter sunk bolts and not just regular bolts.
