Cool ATC pen

Was at my parent house today visiting and my father hands me this old pen . I remember buying this back in the 80s while visiting family in Michigan . It still works great , as you tilt the pen the atc moves back and forth .

Where abouts in Michigan you originally from Mike ?
I will be up to Silver Lake sand dunes early June with several board members, I wonder if they still have any of those pens (?) :)

This old whip/flag matches the pen and was bought the same weekend . The orange is a little faded but its getting close to 30 years old LOL
