These little GoPro HD cameras are amazing. This was shot by Hans while riding his trx450r. I don't have my own GoPro HD yet but I'm getting one. If your computer can run 1080p on youtube smoothly you're in for a treat (default is only 360p). This is completely raw footage. No post processing at all. Straight from the camera to youtube.

About half way through we do a few runs up Oldsmobile hill. You'll get a good view of my R and the 250R from Mr. Clean's "teaching the next generation" thread.

I'm curious. How many of you can play that vid smoothly at 1080p?

If you're not sure how, you have to click on the link and you'll see the resolution setting on the bottom right corner of the youtube player. The options are 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p.

I can only play it 100% smoothly at 480p. :(

lol i didnt even try to change it just played at the normal 360p and it looked great, dont think my connection would allow it at 1080p even though my monitor will

Oops! I meant to say play the vid smoothly as in the frame rate. I know a lot of people will have to pause it and let it buffer but, after it's buffered, can you play it smoothly at full screen 1080p?

i can play it on 1080p with no lag or slow frame rate. it buffers the entire 10 min vid within 5 seconds.

What are your system specs? I'm curious to know how much horsepower a computer needs to do that because I've never seen it.

well I am a huge gaming nerd. So I went all out and spent over $5700 on my desktop from alienware. I have a total custom Area 51 Alx tower. It has a Intel Core i7 975 3.86GHz (8MB Cache) Extreme Edition Quad Core Processor, Dual TI FireGL V8650 2GB GDDR4 Workstation Video Card. I started with a bare bone kit from aleinware and upgraded most everything from Tiger direct.com. need i go on lol.

I have it connected to either my 26 lcd or can click the remote to pop it on my pride and joy 55" samsung Led Lcd i just got for christmas! THANKS SANTA!!!

Btu yea i def look foward to more of these HD vids please keep em coming!!

I can play it at 1080p after the buffering.
Windows Vista 64 bit, AMD 9150 quad processor -1.80 ghz
4 gb ram.

Man, I am sooo glad I got to experience Glamis / Imperial Dunes. My only regret is not having my own machines out there.

Those vids dont show what it is like to funnel around them "bungholes" or how long and high those hills are.

Thanks for posting.

Once again Bro, Thank you. Your videos always take the edge off from missing the sand, :p

Don't you just hate how choppy it gets up at top of OH? I always have a hard time up there. Must be my weight.
But even with 320lbs on a basically stock 250r, I can shoot the hill all the way up in 3rd gear ;)

What where you riding? or the guy shooting the video? A 400ex? I seen you kick start it, so it must be a 450? No?

anyway, again dude, thanks!

The guy filming was on a 450r. I was on my red black and white 250r. You can see me with the gopro on my helmet and the red and white jersey.

Ran smooth for me at 1080 without any stalling of action. Quite the view. I'm just running a cheap Acer with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q8200, not that I know what that means!
