i just went and looked at some 3 wheelers a guy has for sale. they are all cobbed together junk that he wants way, way too much for. there were a pair of rear rims on a 200x that i asked about and he said they were 3 bolt aluminum racing rims for a 1984 250r. they were like a turbine style rim, kind of like the rims on the dukes of hazards car. was he full of crap? just wondering.

"3 bolt" answers your question.
Are they 2 piece?
As I recall, those wheels were popular back in the day on custom bikes.
I saw some pics on here a while back.
I'd consider them a downgrade from the original 250r wheels.

not to mention 1984 250Rs had 4bolt wheels.

i wasnt sure about the lugs. i asked how much he wanted and he said,"better get out your checkbook", i laughed and said ill give ya $25 for them. ive never seen someone that wanted so much for absolute junk.

The rims that you are referring to are PCCC "turbo" wheels. Very popular on the atc90s and early atc110s as well as the 1981 atc250r as they were the only 250r that came stock with 3x100 bolt pattern hubs. Depending on price and condition, I may have picked those up. I do have several nos PCCC "turbo" wheels in their original boxes though. They came in several different colors. Red, Black and I think yellow. They were quite the ticket to a fancy trike for awhile. They are cast aluminum rims and can be polished out very nice. Most people usually used them with a steel wheel half or an aftermarket aluminum wheel half.

I ran into a guy in Kerhonkson NY, that had I think it was an 84 200x for sale that was haggard at best and wanted $800 for it. This guy had a yard full of stuff, all junk and half together. Everything I asked about he had to think about or rattled out a WAY to high price. But he did have the blue whatever size Honda I believe Christmas edition and a REALLY nice old Honda moped/motorcycle that he couldn't come up with a price for.

I drove 3 hours total to go pull wheelies on someone else's junk and walk away empty handed.
