84 200X Piston ?'s

im thinkin about putting a 10.25:1 wiseco piston in my 84 200X. im just wondering if i need to re jet the carb? or is that only if i was to move to an over size piston? also, what if i put one of those cams from powroll or megacycle what else would i need to change to run that setup? any help would be great

I've got that piston and a pipe in mine, put in by previous owner. I use premium gas, and it goes pretty good for a 200. Not sure about rejetting simply for higher compression. Plug looks fine and no problems so far.

I ran that piston with a megacycle cam last year and she ran good. Megacycle is good stuff I have their full bearing cam setup for the 200x. Powroll is good stuff too, I'm running their stroker crank and piston in my 200x this year.
