swap 250r liquid in to 84 250r frame

did the 84 and 85 250r s have to same frame. will the exhaust line up. i can weld up a few supports and other small stuff but i need to know if it is the same basic frame.

Not the same frame,84 exhaust is on the left,85 and up on the right side,good luck fitting tank with shroud,radiator,and the 84 chain is on the right,85 and up on left side.....

so its a really hard swap and not worth it type thing. on a side note, are the power differences between the air and liquid cooled really noticeable.
