oil condition

drained the oil in the 200x today , blacker that black but not overly thick, smells a little like gas and there was a small 3/8 " wide piece of gasket that came out with the oil @#&* !! so what would this tell someone who actually knows what they r doing, best/worst case scenario?? where do i go from here ? any help is megappreciated.

it tells me that the oil needs changed more often. as for the gasket. if everything is working fine then don't worry about it. someone had it apart and part of the old gasket was left behind. i would change the oil again soon to help flush out all the crap.

thanks guys i thought i missed a memo and noone wanted to help with my uneducated posts, but hey we all gotta start somewhere, i just got more balls than brains! i was really worried about how and why that got there . could u be more specific on evertyhing what do i need to look for to rest easy, please and thank you
