Coil from ATC90 to atc110

ok is it possible to use a coil from a atc90" dont know the year but it has points" into a 1979 ATC110 engine ? iare the both the same voltage? thank you

ive used a 110 engine in a 90 frame with 90 coil. so yeah, it should work.

ok i pulled the cord and felt a little shock bearly a little shock why is it wak what can it be?

I think the 90 has points and is 6 volt, 110 has a cdi and are 12 volt... don't think they're interchangeable

Yes, 79 is points. Are you holding onto the plastic plug part? Because if you are, it's about right that you feel small voltage. How's the spark on the plug?
