Being 55 and disabled has lead me to sell the street bikes. This week I traded an 82 goldwing even up for a Corvair trike. :) The wing was in very good shape. The trike has a rebuilt engine and auto trans, new paint on the body and new tires. All she needs is the frame painted and the wiring gone over.
I'm stoked about this because I thought I was done being in the wind. It may take me till next year to get it on the road unless I fall into some exrta $$$$$ but I will get there.

There is a company making trike kits for the "Ridley" now. The Ridley is 750cc and has the the snowmobile clutch, so no shifting if that is the problem. Glad to hear you are back in the wind. Those corvairs can be finicky at times. Best of luck with the new trikes. Get us some pics.
