some one passed me out a 1982 atc200 to repair at first i was even not getting a spark. I cleaned up the carburator the tank, cdi, everything. Now im able to start it 1 time for each 3 to 5 time im getting outdoor to try it.
i found 2 major problems that im not able to solve,
i got a gas return by the carburator on the left at each time i crank it, it sems that im loosing compression by that.
And the spark that im getting is very weak, at each time i have been hable to start it, it was with a new spark plug. Sometimes the spark plug become all black of carbone, I think it is because its too rich but i didnt found any way to adjust that.the idle is always to its max, if you decrease it the motor runs off and it is practically impossible to start it again after.
