81 atc 110 frame same as 83?

My 110 needs a frame. I found one for a reasonable cost, but it's a 81. Is it the same. I don't see any major differences.

As far as the frame goes, the airbox is a rectangle with a removable top on an '83 - '82 and older is a canister, and the hole in the frame for the airbox is round instead of oval. That's the only frame difference I know of, but I'm sure there are more. Too bad you're so far away... my local scrapyard has 2 - 1983 110 frames.

I'm going to be putting a pod filter on it anyway, so the air box issues are not a concern.

They should be the same, especially those years. I thought the 85 had a more 'flat' top to it, but I think everything is interchangeable. Especially 81-83 since they were the same. If you don't mind me asking, about how much is it? I have two and wanted to know what their going rate was.

I found a guy in northern wisconsin that has decent prices. I think the frame is going to be around $30.
