I am painting my 350X front master cylinder, but I'm not going to powder coat it (along with the other parts) because of the plastic "looking window" - it will melt! What do you recommend this is very durable and easy for me to apply at home? I'd like to go a step above Rustoleum or something like that. Thoughts??

Thanks!

PJ1 is really good stuff! and don't hate on rustoleum they make heavy duty machine paint that when applied properly is very strong ding resistant paint! PJ1 has whatever you need just alittle more $$$

ps sittinguy a good high gloss engine paint should also be baked on! it has ceramic in it that needs to be heat treated! says it in the directions, i have used it both ways first time it gets hot it can be wiped off untill cooled again! tricky stuff

PJ1 is Awesome. I do not typically recommend painting plastic myself because it usually cracks when the plastic flexes, but PJ1 is an epoxy paint that if cured properly is also resistant to gas and oil.

My local motorcycle shops typically carry it. I have never seen O'Reillys, Autozone etc carry the paint.

It works great on metal!!
