might be but I have had well over 20 years of climbing time.

My crazy days are behind me, yours may be still coming.

My 200ES will climb anything i point it at with my 22" spidertracs on it. 2nd, maybe 3rd in Lo. I love climbing stuff. The yt175 is great as well, 1st real low on those trimoto's. especially the 125.

This hill here is pretty steep, contrary to what the pic looks like. and is really long. I climbed it a few times with the yt175. Not in the winter though, only pic i could find of the hill.... lol

i was in hi gear that may be my problem. mine werent long either maybe 3 feet before it turn almost vertical nothing like that. looks fun as hell. im only rockin 18 inches on my rears right now as i blew out my 22s on a trail and needed a quick cheap replacement while away from home.

Steepest hill for me on any atv/atc was my 85 R, 60/70 degree hill for 25-30 feet then it went to vertical 7-8 feet ( it was that chopped up sand stuff that looks like shelves sticking out). It was a radical ride I done it tons. No one else would try it. Make sure if your gonna climb a hill like that you do it without hesitation. You have to hit a hill like that full on and never back out. Once your in the air you can back out of the throttle and it will pitch perfectly and land flat but make sure you don't kill it because most hills like that are still steep once you land.

Sand mountain ut, it has the long side "the saddle" and the steep side "the face". The long side is like 1000' climb, pretty steep but not horrible. The face is like 800', but it is alot steeper. This vid at 2:10 shows it from a helmet camera view:

A stock 350x, tecate or even a 250r is hard to get up it. My modded 350x will make it but it is hard with it being so steep, going down from 3rd to second makes the front lift.

The long side a stock 350x or r will make it in 2nd or 3rd. I have seen one 200x make it, it was my 86 200x but my son was riding it and he is maybe 80 lbs.

The other one that is damn steep but not as long is St anthony ID called choke or choke cherry. Man is it steep. I have seen pred 500 try and try and never make it.

Down at the badlands in Indiana, there are some short steep hills, and at the top of one it goes from 70 degrees to 90 and then comes back and has a hump at the top you have to jump. It's only about 200' long, but scary as heck.

that is where i ride and hang out. it was the best back in the mid to late 90s. that is when i got these pics.

Kicked my trike into low gear on some hills because it wouldn't make it up them. Also had to lean forward http://img231.imageshack.us/i/198o.gif/

I find speed / momentum helps me alot. Climbing steep hills is much easier when you just glide up it without throwing dirt everywhere. My big red with mudlites shows up all my friends with their Kodiaks etc on big hills. Cant beat it.
